I enjoyed this book!  I've read other "reviews" from individuals who didn't like this book because there was little "character development", and not a very deep plot.  I agree that the characters and plot could have been deeper, but this is not an adult novel, this is a children's novel =)  It's a simple, but intriguing story; one that is easy to follow and enjoy.  I've always wondered what happened to the wishes I made that never came true...now I know!  =)

the adventures of hashbrown winters

I LOVE this book!  I read it with several of my classes at school, and we all laughed together.  Much of the humor is directed toward the adult reader (the kids kinda miss out on the whole "mafia" thing), but the story is full of humor for everyone.  The students loved the "Oracle" and Whiz.  I discovered it's hard to read aloud and laugh at the same time!  =)  I've been hoping it will come out in hardback/library bound so I can add it to our library, but no luck so far.  I might have to just put the paperback on the shelf, the students just keep asking for it!  A completely enjoyable story!  I have met Frank Cole and he is a super funny guy, I think hashbrown is secretly Frank when he was in elementary school!  Shhhhh, don't tell!  =)

 100 Cupboards

I just finished this book!  As soon as I finished it I wanted to pick up the second book and continue reading...luckily for me, I had the second book already!  I hate it when I have to wait for the next book to come out!  =)  Henry makes an amazing discovery...and has some pretty amazing adventures because of it.  The whole story concept is so cool!  Pick up this book and find out just how cool this story is!
